The first card is in planning
It mails once the categories are spoken for, and we confirm the mail date and your artwork date with you before anything prints. Categories are taken in the order they sell, and once one is gone it's gone for that issue.
Only one of you
One plumber, one dentist, one roofer per card. Your closest competitor cannot buy the slot next to yours, because there is no slot next to yours.
We design the ad
Send a logo, an offer and a photo. We lay it out, you approve a proof, and nothing prints until you have seen it.
Whole routes, not a list
USPS Every Door Direct Mail buys carrier routes — every deliverable address on the routes in the drop, not names rented from a database.
A listing that outlives the card
Your ad gets a page in the directory with a tracked link. The card sits on a fridge for a month; the listing keeps working.

What it costs
$249
per card, all in — a business-card ad, and the entry price
Five sizes. Everything below is included at every one of them; the only thing that changes is how much of the card is yours — up to the whole back of it.
- Ad design and layout, with a proof to approve
- Printing on a 9×12 card, both sides in full colour
- Postage and the USPS paperwork
- A directory listing with a tracked link
- Your offer on the deals page for as long as it runs
There is no setup fee, no contract and no minimum number of mailings.
The full side is the back of the card only, one per issue. The front carries the postal indicia and address block the Postal Service requires, so it is never for sale. A sold back keeps a slim Spotlight credit along its bottom edge.

| DoubleTwo slots side by side — the widest ad that still sits in the grid.5.77 × 3.58 in · 1/4 page | $599 |
| Full rowA whole row, edge to edge. One per side, and the anchor position.11.63 × 3.58 in · 1/2 page | $899 |
| Full sideThe whole back of the card, yours alone. Back side only — the front carries the postal indicia USPS requires.11.63 × 8.20 in · One full side | $1,995 |
One business per category applies at every size — a business-card ad holds the category just as firmly as a full row does. Sizes are subject to what is still unsold on the card when you claim it, and the measurements above are close but not the artwork spec: you get exact dimensions with your proof, and we lay the ad out either way.
The full side is the back of the card only, one per issue. The front carries the postal indicia and the address block the Postal Service requires, so it is never for sale — and a sold back still carries a slim Spotlight credit line along its bottom edge.

We check the category
One business per category per card, so the first thing we do is confirm yours is actually free on the next issue.
- 2
You get a price and a proof
The price is the one on this page. Send a logo, an offer and a photo; we lay the ad out and you approve it before anything prints.

Nothing prints until you say so
No setup fee, no contract, no minimum number of mailings. If you change your mind before your ad goes to the printer, that is the end of it.

FAQ
Questions people actually ask
What does it cost?
Ads start at $249 for a business-card size. A full slot is $399, a double is $599 and a full row is $899. That is the whole price at every size — design, printing and postage are included, and there is no setup fee. A full side — the whole back of the card, one advertiser — is $1,995. The bigger the ad the less it costs per inch, and one business per category applies at every size.
What does "one business per category" mean?
Exactly one plumber, one dentist, one roofer per card. When a category is taken it is gone for that issue, so you are never sitting next to your closest competitor. The categories still open are listed above.
Who actually receives it?
A planned 5,000-home mailing, subject to final route selection in 78212. The initial planning estimate for Monte Vista is about 4,000 homes, so the final count and coverage must be confirmed. This is a planned 5,000-home drop, not a promise to cover an entire ZIP code. Final carrier routes and deliverable counts are confirmed with USPS before printing.
Do I have to design an ad?
No. Send your logo, your offer and a photo or two and we lay the ad out for you. You approve a proof before anything prints. If you would rather supply finished artwork, that is fine too.
How do I know if it worked?
The planned launch setup uses approved offers, edition-specific QR source tags and an optional giveaway interest question. Measurement and reporting are configured before launch; this preview does not run analytics or accept entries.
When is the deadline?
The card mails once its categories are spoken for, so there is no date on a wall — we set the mail date and tell you when we need your artwork, usually about two weeks ahead, once the card is full. The categories still open are at the top of this page.
Do I have to commit to a year?
No. You can buy a single card. Most businesses see better results across three or more mailings, because the same household sees you repeatedly — but that is your call, not a contract.
Pick a category before somebody else does.
Once a category is taken it's gone for that issue. Send the form and you'll know within a business day whether yours is still free.
